Abbey Associates is a small company that concentrates on providing a lease car administration service to the Public Sector. We also have a new department offering lease and hire vehicles to business and private customers. Our emphasis is on SERVICE. Derek Lewis the Director was the manager of NHS Supplies Car Leasing Department until 1998. This Department was then closed as it was not deemed to be Core Business. Due to the excellent service he had provided he was persuaded by a couple of his existing customers to set up independently and Abbey Associates was born.
Initially the work was done from his front room then an office in his garden and in September 2004 Abbey Associates moved into premises based at 95 High Street, Yeadon, Leeds. It was slow progress at first just keeping the initial three customers. Word began to spread through the NHS regarding the service that Abbey Associates offered. Currently the fleet is 1500+ vehicles. The sizes of individual fleets range from 2 to over 400 vehicles.
Abbey Associates is a family run business. We have three directors Derek, Brenda, and Paul Lewis.

At the Fleet News Awards in March 2008 Abbey Associates won the
award for “Best Customer Service Initiative”
The Fleet News Awards are the flagship awards for the fleet car business and very fiercely fought by all the major manufacturers and service providers.
