We work to your scheme. Abbey Associates are vastly experienced and can offer advice on how to set up or review your current lease car scheme. These can vary between zero cost to the Trust option to a more generous allowance scheme that is designed to attract or keep staff such as community midwives or community nurses where there is a shortage.

Our service is divided into two areas

1/ The Trust / Authority


Car leasing administration is not rocket science. Once instructions and an accurate database is set up the Trust should have very little involvement in the running of the scheme enabling them to concentrate on the core business of Health. Our customers find that once we have taken over their scheme it runs smoothly, they do not get complaints from the drivers, problems with payroll or finance and the Inland Revenue issues are all dealt with. We supply the required information in timely reports to the required Departments.

2/ The Driver

This is the area that we find the most important. The reason that the NHS supplies vehicles to drivers is so that they have a good vehicle to conduct their business in. They are fully insured and have the Corporate Manslaughter issues dealt with by the administer. It is good for the morale in the department and allows the drivers to get on with their work without having to worry about having a vehicle to complete their work in. Abbey Associates quote the drivers directly. There is no limit to the number of quotes they can have and our staff are always happy to chat with the drivers offering advice on current “special deals”or suitable vehicles. We arrange delivery of the vehicle directly with the driver. We assist them in all aspects of their lease. Should they have an accident, any problem with the vehicle, or advice on mileage issues we are there to help. Our customer care reports that we receive from the drivers constantly tell us that our staff “are like friends that they have known all their lives.”
